for the Glen of Imaal Terrier

This section has information on the following breed health conditions and issues:
-
PRA crd3 - a heritable eye condition
-
PCDU - a complex heritable condition affecting the front legs
-
Popular sires - detrimental to the future wellbeing of the Glen
This section encourages prospective puppy owners to discuss the above health issues with breeders.
There is a health checklist to download and print off.
The health and litter spreadsheet in this section lists all UK Kennel Club registered Glen of Imaal Terrier stud dogs and brood bitches that have sired/whelped litters since 1st January 2011.
There are also links to the breed clubs' Codes of Ethics, which provide "best practice" guidance to breeders.
This section provides links to health survey reports and the
Glen DNA Archive, plus information about Glen research projects.
